The Library accepts submissions of new Program Presenters all year. The Library reserves the right to solicit programs that fit an unmet or special programmatic need or specific themes.

All approved presenters will be entered in the Library’s programming resources directory for consideration by the Library’s 60+ branch system. Even if a program is approved, QPL does not guarantee that program proposals will be invited to present their program at a library location

Planning and publicity for Library programs are typically scheduled a minimum of three months in advance.

Promotion of events is coordinated by the Library’s Marketing Department; all materials to be used by a co-sponsoring body must be approved by the Library before the scheduled event.

Presenters are expected to supply their own materials or handouts, unless the Library and the presenter have agreed to a different arrangement prior to the program date.

Presenters offering PAID programs must submit a signed contract, ACH form, and W9 form before the program date. Free program presenters must sign a presenter agreement two weeks before the program date

Presenters will be paid within 30 days after their program and issuance of an invoice.
